We speak in symbols and we think in symbols. Symbols of themselves aren’t logical, but we’ve created logical symbols – symbols that relate symbols to other symbols.

This knowing mind – this is the great evolution of modern man. Our capacity to build more complex, atomic, esoteric relations between symbols enables us to drill further and further into this philosophical quagmire called life: What’s the meaning? What’s the purpose? What’s real? What matters?
